Sting, the rocker from the UK, was very open and honest about the Police tour and the effect it had on him.

“Truthfully, I got ill, just physically ill. I was able to get through it, however it was not easy,” Sting said. He revealed that the tour of 2007 was a trip into memory lane that was too much.

“It was a lot harder than I was thinking it would be in terms of psychologically. It was like I was going back into a dysfunctional marriage and all of the old problems still remained.”

The tour was very ambitious in terms of its scope, with over 150 concerts dates all over the world. Since The Police broke up Sting has flourished. He ruled out any rumors of the band staging another reunion, calling the idea a dreadful one.
