The Police and Eric Clapton will be headlining the Hard Rock Calling festival this year in London’s Hyde Park.

The first night in the event of two days will be led by Clapton. Special guests joining him will be Sheryl Crow, ex-girlfriend, and John Mayer.

For the second night The Police will be heading the lineup. Starsailor and KT Tunstall will be on the bill as well.

The event will take place on June 28-29. On February 1, tickets will be going on sale. The event is part of Ambassadors of Rock Tour by Hard Rock.

The concert will be the first time Clapton has had a headlining gig in over a decade at Hyde Park.

Toby Leighton-Pope, from the Live Nation organizers said, we are really excited about Hard Rock Calling this year. There are two amazing headlining acts that follows on the tradition we have from the past two years that saw Aerosmith, Peter Gabriel, The Who and Roger Waters performing.
