Police Tour Takes Two Before the Band Retires

The reunion tour of the Police will be making one final trip through North America over the summer. The band will then call it quits once again. Unlike last year’s schedule, the group will be sticking to arenas and amphitheaters without having any festival or stadium stops during the May and July thirty some date trek. Sandwiched in between in June will be a European fifteen date run.

The Police has promised to play in U.S. cities that were passed up after the band reunited the first time last May. Sources close to the Police state that Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland plan on hanging their handcuffs up forever after their run ends in July. The reunion tour of the Police has been estimated as one of the all time top five tours with the highest gross. Net profit has been estimated to be in the $340 million range when it is all finally said and done.
